The Southeast Virginia Light Aircraft Flyers club was formed initially to promote sport aviation in general, and ultralight flying in particular.  The original name of the Club was the Southeast Virginia Ultralight Flyers.

With the introduction of Sport Pilot, the Club’s name was changed, but we continue to provide a forum for instruction, safety education and the exchange of technical information. We gather on a weekly basis.

The club also provides access to a flying site in Gloucester County, Virginia.
